Recipe List

This is a list of all the recipes I want to make.  I have them all bookmarked, but I figure this may be easier for me.  One of my summer goals is to take a big dent out of this list.  I'm in no way saying I will get all of these recipes crossed off the list.  For one, not all of them are "summer" recipes (yes, I categorize some recipes according to seasons- I mean, baked potato soup is delicious but not fitting for an 80 degree weather day).  For two...well, it's a ginormous list.

The majority of these recipes come from Foodgawker.com.  I may have mentioned this site before, but if I haven't- GO THERE NOW.  But only if you have hours to spend looking at food porn.  Seriously.  I have to tear myself away.  Hubs thought it was pathetic...until he sat beside me while I was browsing and immediately started salivating.

I haven't yet decided exactly what my goals will be (ie two new recipes a week, etc) so I will be trying to figure that out soon.  But for now I'm just getting everything in place for Summer of Effort 2011 (hmm, might have to figure out another title, not sure I'm enjoying this).

Some of these are healthy.  Some are ridiculously, ridiculously not.   Some are multiple versions of the same thing, but it's okay.  Experimentation is welcome in my kitchen :)  I love pasta, spinach, bacon, zuchinni, squahsh, & Greek inspired dishes...so you'll be seeing a lot of this.

Note: The original links (that are not drawn through) are to the websites where I found these recipes.  Once I make them & review them, I change the link to my review on this blog.  However, in those individual blogs I always link back to the original site (if you see an instance where I didn't do this and don't specifically state that I made it up as I go, please let me know).  I very rarely make up my own recipes, and if I do it's almost always still influenced by a previous recipe I've discovered.  I am in no way taking credit for these recipes- I'm not a chef or cook or anything other than a girl trying to make food because me & my husband need it to live- and I don't claim otherwise.
